CUCKOO
CUCKOO is the solo artist name of Andreas Paleologos (aka Palegolas), a 33 years old, tall, slim, Oslo based Norwegian-Swede-Greek cross media artist, now on the verge of debuting with the electrifying and potentially game changing album "Ringalingading". Ever since CUCKOO's stage debut in 2008 he has been playing live in Norway and Sweden and also, in 2009, managed to get quite a few radio plays with his duet with Jenny Hval ? simply entitled CUCKOO.
In his career as an animator he's made music videos for Hanne Hukkelberg, DinoSau, NAME, Madcon and stuff for MTV. That and growing up as a video games kid in the 80's, the sounds, the playfulness and melodies clearly influences the music and his live performances with colourful visuals, pure synthesis, catchy vocals and an energetic electronic dansing style.
After years of humming, writing, singing, dancing, bleeping and geeking Paleologos is now finally ready to debut with his self produced album "Ringalingading" (Impeller Recordings) March 1, 2010.
